The queue
Messages you send while Claude is busy wait in a queue above the message box. When Claude finishes, the next one goes out and gets its own answer; until then, reorder, edit or hold them.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”Work the queue from the keyboard
In the message box, ↑ picks the newest waiting message. ⌘↑ and ⌘↓ move it, ⏎ edits it where it stands, ⌫ removes it, ⌘⏎ sends it now, and esc lets go. With nothing picked, ⌘⏎ queues what you typed at the front.
Send a message sooner
Right-click a waiting message: Send Next moves it to the front, and Send Now hands it to Claude to read at its next step. Stop Claude and Send This interrupts the turn, and Run in Parallel gives it to another Claude in a new tab.
Hold the queue
Click Hold and Claude finishes what it’s doing, then waits instead of taking the next message. Resume lets the queue go on. A queue left over when you quit is kept, and comes back on hold.
