Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”Make a new file right in the tree
Click New file above the tree and a name field appears in the list. Type a name and press ⏎: the file is made and opens in a tab, green because git hasn’t seen it yet. Right-click a folder to make the file inside it.
Tidy a file with one shortcut
Format Document runs the file’s formatter: Ruff for Python, Prettier for JavaScript and TypeScript, gofmt, rustfmt and more. Your cursor stays put, and one ⌘Z undoes it. Turn on Format on save in Settings ▸ Editor & Files to do it on every ⌘S.

Closing an unsaved file asks first
Close a tab with unsaved edits and Multee asks what to do: Save & Close, Cancel, or Don’t Save & Close. Closing a project or quitting Multee with unsaved files asks the same way.
