New Project… (⌘⇧N) asks for a name and a place, makes the folder and opens it. Tick Initialize a Git
repository to run git init in it as well.
Prefer Claude in a terminal? Pick it per project
Right-click a project in SESSIONS and choose Terminal under Open Claude In. The next time that project opens, Claude starts in a terminal tab instead of the chat. Settings ▸ Claude ▸ Open Claude in sets it for all projects.
Open as many projects as you like
Each folder you open gets its own row in SESSIONS, with its own tabs. Its dot turns blue while Claude works there, and orange when Claude needs you or has finished in a tab you aren’t looking at.
