Asking another tab
Claude in one tab can ask the Claude in another tab a question. That tab answers from its own conversation without stopping its work, so Claude can find out what another tab knows or is changing.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”A tab that isn't running can still answer
If the tab’s Claude isn’t running (not opened since Multee started, paused, or exited), a temporary copy of its saved conversation answers instead. The tab itself is left exactly as it was, and the copy stops a couple of minutes later.
Ask whoever wrote the code
Claude can look up which conversations edited a file, a line or a commit, from Claude Code’s saved history. Then it can ask the right one why it was written that way, even after its tab was closed.
Other projects stay out unless you allow it
A tab sees and asks only the Claude tabs of its own project. Turn on Settings ▸ Claude ▸ Let Claude tabs ask across projects to let it reach the tabs of every open project, and read what was said there.
